Our Dungarees blend has developed over the years in close collaboration with some skillful baristas in Ireland and a few knowledgeable farmers from coffee farms in Brazil and Colombia.
In this case, both Cooperatives were formed by groups of farmers who decided to gain independence and control over the processing and selling of their coffee beans.
As a result, these Cooperatives can purchase coffee beans from local farmers, offer them access to credit while providing agricultural materials. All members are smallholder farmers and their families.
The result is a sweet & smooth shot with notes of marzipan, citrus and dark chocolate that brings a smile while sipping on and on...
