Grown in the heart of São Sebastião da Grama, within Brazil’s renowned Mogiana region, Fazenda da Mata’s Yellow Catuaí flourishes at around 1,200 meters on nutrient-rich volcanic soil. Nestled among natural springs and preserved forests, this family-owned farm has cultivated coffee with passion and heritage since 1982. The unique combination of high altitude, temperate climate, and mineral-rich terrain gives the farm its reputation for producing coffees with exceptional sweetness, clarity, and balance.

Across generations, the Cerri family has refined every stage of their craft—from field care to post-harvest processing—with a commitment to quality that honours the vision of founder Adonis Cerri. Their Yellow Catuaí is harvested between June and September, hand-selected, and processed using the natural method. In this traditional approach, whole cherries are dried slowly under the sun on raised beds, allowing the fruit’s sugars to fully infuse the beans. This enhances depth and sweetness, creating a rich foundation ideal for espresso roasting.

In the cup, Fazenda da Mata’s Yellow Catuaí espresso is creamy, sweet, and beautifully structured. Expect flavours of dark chocolate, cherry, and almond, supported by a gentle fruitiness from the natural process and a soft, balanced acidity from the high-altitude soil. The result is a smooth, comforting espresso with lingering sweetness and a character that reflects the land where it was grown.
