Experience the rich heritage and passion for coffee with this Colombian gem from the El Libano farm, owned by the dedicated farmer Javier Rubio. Nestled in the picturesque region of San Bernardo, Gaitania, Tolima, this coffee is a true reflection of the love and expertise that goes into each cup.

Grown at a lofty altitude of 1,650 meters above sea level, these Typica beans are carefully nurtured using natural processing methods, resulting in a flavor profile that's nothing short of exceptional. With enchanting taste notes of plums, zesty grapefruit, refreshing lemon, and a subtle hint of ginseng, each sip is an adventure for your taste buds.

Javier Rubio's journey with coffee began at an early age, growing up in a traditional coffee farming family in Casanare, Colombia. He has spent his entire life working on coffee farms and has a deep-rooted passion for the craft. In 1990, he moved to Tolima and, in 1994, he seized the opportunity to purchase El Libano, a 9-hectare farm, 7 of which are dedicated to coffee cultivation.

Besides coffee, the farm also grows plantains and beans, contributing to the richness of the local community. Javier's commitment to organic farming practices has earned him organic certification, ensuring that the land is well-cared for, and his coffee flourishes in its natural environment.

Javier's expertise extends beyond his farm as he shares his knowledge with the local community to enhance their farming practices. His dedication to quality is evident in the accolades he has received, including a third-place finish in the Cup of Excellence in 2008.

When he's not tending to his farm, Javier enjoys the simple pleasures of life, from socializing with friends in town to supporting local food producers. This Colombian coffee is not just a beverage; it's a testament to the rich history, hard work, and passion of a farmer who dedicates his life to delivering the finest coffee beans to your cup.
